This Saturday WGL will be hosting a livestream with Fizzer, the developer of WarLight.

We will hold an FFA game during the stream. Fizzer agreed to let the winner of that realtime FFA pick a feature for immediate roadmap development out of the following list:
- Add a member-only forum.
- Add "attack only" to 3v3 ladder.
- Add "allow attacks by percentage" to 3v3 ladder.
- Allow turning a finished game into a youtube video.
- create link to community events on dashboard with someone curating it (clan league, WWCL, etc)
- Hide forum posts by players you've blacklisted.
- Forum voting system, to help promote good threads and hide bad threads.

This has never been done before in 8 years of WarLight!

Forum reputation, if it works like I think it does, can be really badly abused by groups of people/alt spammers. Feature that'll probably backfire really badly if done.

Guys, forum repetition is not on the list. I quote,

make it Member only. Alts are no longer are problem.

I suppose "member-only", combined with a minimum level (for community members who are not members, but have been around for a long time) could also a be a good way to handle this.

Don't make it member only! Some people have alts that are members. Most people also aren't members, so it would be unfair on them. If your trying to eliminate alts, only allow unique IP addresses or ask people to only use their main.

How much players in the FFA?

Violate freedom of speech?

I think it depends on what the actual feature DOES. I think anyone should be able to post on the forums, for instance. But if we have some kind of "upvote-downvote" feature, that doesn't affect free speech (unless it's implemented in some draconian way, which I suppose is a possibility!). Anyone can still post and have their say.

If there's a better way to do that (like by tracking IP addresses), I would welcome that, but I don't know how realistic that is.

Which userscript?

Turning games into youtube videos would be good. Would help make Warlight more well known as well.

I'd like to propose a feature: Fizzer actually works on the highest-rated UserVoice so we all can say we're no longer wasting our time by submitting good ideas that will never be implemented. The dumbest part is that 4 of the suggested features would be super simple to add. Like less than an hour of development work.

But hey, at least we have new card images!

Though, I think the forum threads are not so filled with threads and is easy to keep track so I would really consider

Community events is where the most fun comes from in warlight so I'm really considering this at the moment so that the general public can get more involved in stuff like WGL Clan League so much more..

Kind of hard deciding on one feature.. Out of interest what would others pick?
