So I am currently making my first map.It is going to be called "Destiny of Valadia".The country borders, geography and important regions are all tought out by me,but given the number of territories it is going to have,I am having trouble coming up with good names. This map includes Humans(western and eastern),undead, demons and ice men.Any suggestions on names are appreciated :)

How about using names out of the ancient Greek religion and myth? Like naming a western region 'Zephyrus' and a eastern region 'Eurus', using the name of an earth or a mountain god for mountain areas etc.

Let me give you some context:I originally created this map as an entry to a contest by a youtube channel called "Alternate History Hub".This is the continent of Valadia(previously named Etlania),a world of magic and legends.Basic aspect of this world is "Hades" or "the Underworld",a dimension to which the souls of dead humans transcend. At some point ,a tear occured between Hades and the world of mortals, allowing souls to return to the world of mortals,as long as they had a physical vessel to do so(e.g. their dead body). Many of them organised under "The Council of Hades",a group of powerful beings with the desire to protect their plane from human curiosity(and maybe, just maybe, some of them just wanted a lil bit of power power). This is where this story starts.I have thought much more of it,so I will be answering questions in regards to the lore and some specific naming tendancies.

I find, if you want nice Nordic sounding names, you can use letters together that don't usually go, like Yg, Yl, Wr, Tv, etc. You can also use -or, -as, -atta, etc. for good endings. Double Vowels look cool too.
Ygbrollor Wronsas Tveletta Baarduin.

Perhaps a good path is to think in a language to be spoken. Given the context, I'd bet on greek, but an invented language can work as well as a real one. In a strange language, names don't need to be particularly creative. In a language where red is Melloz, river is ágof and the suffix for lands is -ea, you can call a small region, perhaps a bonus, of Mellozagófea, which is complete devoid of creativity, but easy to get.
