Fizzer, what happens when you move during a vacation? I'm leaving for 7 days tomorrow and might get a semi-regular access to Internet, but still I want to make sure I don't get booted (I'm in the 2v2 membership tourney and we're in the process of winning a game ;) ).
Will I be able to move? Or is the vacation mode cancelled when you commit orders, or is it simply not possible to commit?
Also, if I cancel vacation early, do I get back the unused days? (5*10 is probably enough for everyone, I just want to know).
Also, am I given five vacations of up to 10 days, or simply 50 days?
What happens when you move during a vacation? And other questions: 2011-07-15 16:53:59
Well, yes, the first one. It doesn't really definitely answer the other two. (Although I'm going to assume the worst case - I don't get anything back and I do not get 50, but 5*10 days.)
I'd say it's kind of stupid - it means I won't be able to move at all during this week, since just after a move - if I get the opportunity to make it - I'd have to go and turn vacation back on, and thus lose one of 5 vacations/extensions.
Also, once I turn off vacation mode (or, in fact, after I make a move in any game), I get (nearly) immediately booted from autoboot games, and everybody can boot me from regular ones, right? So if I have, say, 5 games going, I have to move in all of them at the same time, or I'm risking booting?
I'd say the system is somewhat flawed.
