People I never thought would get into Pokémon just got into Pokémon! Pokemon Go is a viral phenomenon.

I just instaled it. Pokemon Go! is awsome!

It's not as good as Ingress but it's certainly solid gameplay-wise. Have you ever really just explored your neighborhood (and the areas beyond)? Even the boring stuff seems interesting now. It's like turning the whole world into your little playground and being 4 and discovering swings again.

No one's complaining about the HoloLens. Google Glass was just not very good compared to the AR tech we have today.

You can't compare Google Glass to Pokemon GO, either. One's an actual hardware device while the other is just AR software.

Pokemon Go can help tackle child obesity.

It is a lot worse than the other pokemon games and far more simple, if you look at the actual mechanics rather than just grinding against pidgeys until your pokemon are twice as powerful as everyone else's. However, that is probably why it is popular because the majority of idiots with phones can play it and understand that they just need to swipe a pokeball when they find a pokemon, and in battles just tap and swipe to dodge.
Also, instead of levelling up pokemon you level them up by what is practicaly cannibalism of their own species. For example, if you have one Pikachu and catch another, then you can transfer one of the Pikachus for a Pikachu lolly/cake/biscuit/food thing which can only be fed to a pikachu to make it level up.
Finally, you need to go to the Vatican to get Arceus.

Arceus isn't actually in Pokemon Go right now. It's all first gen.

Didn't care too much for it myself. I played it for a few days, and renamed my starting Bulbasaur to "Garlicback" (the plant bulb looks like garlic to me), but after a while, I saw a lack of end goal, the game lost its lustre, and I uninstalled it. Probably was too quick, but it wasn't too fun for me.

Pokemon go is really fun considering there is lot more people getting "bigger" (not me) but it is really fun and you get to capture some cool pokemon. It has got me into pokemon scine Im not really into pokemon.
The draw back is that it uses alot of power so recommended to bring extra phone or battery.
