I do not understand why he surrendered. He might even be winning and it's certainly not a position he couldn't come back from if you have a slight lead.

94% on autogames isnt that impressive. Even I have between 85% - 90% in autogames. (Tested it out recently).

Not sure how he could possibly come back. I have a substantial advantage in terms of both positioning and armies. Income was tied, but not for long, I'd have broke West Russia and Scandi soon, leaving him with a max of 8 income to my 15. I also had full intel while he had no intel.

Honestly I feel your last post is either trolling, or really strong evidence that you're a rather mediocre player.

You're making the classic noob mistake of thinking about it like you have equal skill. But you don't. He's a lot better than you are. Even if you dispute that, he would think he's a lot better than you are. Given that, he should absolutely think he has a chance.

Everybody thinks they are better than everybody else. Your opinion is irrelevant to his decision.

In that games chat we specifically reference having recently played on the ladder, where I won. There's no reason for him to believe he's much better than I am.

I didn't mention losing, nor did I lose. Might have been after the game though, but read again, nowhere does it say I lost, and I didn't, it says: "played you on ladder recently as Scorched Earth, lack consistency on ladder though"
