Remember the days of IRC? Back when we had all these #channels?

Well, Discord is IRC revived and polished for gaming. It's also really solidly integrated with voice chat so you can stream off it instead of Skype. Unlike Skype megachats, WL chats, and mail threads, you can also filter out discussion that doesn't interest you because Discord has separate channels for everything- and YouTube/Twitch integration. If you host a stream and are looking for co-hosts or commentators, you can easily just use Discord for that- create a new voice channel for your stream. Ditto for things like clans, etc.

If you're interested, KKND's set up a new Warlight Discord channel at http://discord.me/warlight. Once you join, comment on this thread so one of the admins can change your role to @verified and let you create your own channels.

Nah, the @verified role is mainly just so you can create your own channels. It's most useful if you plan on streaming off a Discord voice channel.
