The speech was obviously copied in part. Can't legitimately deny that. What's sad is how lazy they were. The message was completely generic so they could easily have reworded it without issue but no, they kept it the same and apparently thought no one would notice. Talk about incompetence!

Interesting, although I'm not really buying it. The phrase is practically exactly the same, and the impression I get is that, as I said, they have the same script writer, not that melania is looking up old first lady speeches and taking notes on them.

Remember, English isn't her first language, and honestly she doesn't seem to speak it that well. Having someone else write it for her makes perfect sense.

I don't think they have the scriptwriter, since scriptwriters typically don't switch parties. Michelle's speechwriter is probably either retired or working for a Democrat right now.
