Why? Why would folk obey laws if it was their instinct to kill? Why would laws even exist in the first place if everyone's instinct was to kill eachother at a moment's notice? Why would society even exist at that point?

In my view, the most basic human instinct is survival. You need food, water, shelter to survive. The better you can do getting food, water and survival, the better your chances. Then when the majority of people are not wanting in those basic areas, the survival instinct is extrapolated into what we call greed and leads to corruption. No idea how to fix the situation.

Also, Hydra would like to apologize for what our ex-member Psychonaut said in this thread (and other places, I'm sure). We accept and cherish everyone's point of view, but he has crossed the line from sharing his view to simply insulting people on multiple occasions, culminating with this thread. I will not go into what the history has been like, but if he wishes to share, that is his prerogative.
