Do i have to pay to join ladder. i cannot see any button to join except to pay

You unlock the Real-Time ladder at level 43

You don't have to pay to join any ladder. Just level up

What ladder are you trying to join?

Level 43 is just the RT ladder.
1v1 ladder is level 48.
2v2 ladder is level 51.
Seasonal ladder is level 52.
3v3 ladder is level 54.
