On behalf of The Lost Wolves, I formally invoke Rule 6 to declare one of our competitors - Semicedevine - formally retired from Clan League.
Under the formal requirements set by Rule 6 to declare a player retired:
6) Retirements - Someone can take over an account for a retired player if it is declared and they violate no other CL rules in the process (RR limit, 2 clans, etc). A player can also be replaced entirely in a tournament due to retirement (if you have no access to their account), but only in games not started yet.
Which are enumerated thusly:
1. It is declared.
We have met all criteria set by Clan League management for Semicedevine to be considered retired under this rule.
Furthermore, under the precedent set by the recent 101st ruling in Group B (
https://www.warlight.net/Forum/169082-clan-league-8-group-b-retirement), we interpret the term "games not started yet" to refer strictly to games that are still in the pick stage at the time of this notification of retirement and formal invocation of Rule 6. Games that are past the pick stage will regrettably be unaffected by our Rule 6 declaration.
As of right now, Semicedevine has the following games not yet past the pick stage:
We look forward to a transparent, speedy, and judicious investigation by the CL management panel and furthermore appreciate the work put in by the Illuminati, Freemasons, the Bohemian Society, and that one guy no one really realizes exists but apparently is kind of important and does a lot of stuff to run the Clan League.
We hope that the impact of Semice's untimely retirement on our competitive ability in CL8 is minimized.
With the utmost sincerity,
knyte
