TeamGuns was saying that another gun controle debate is going to get nowhere, and even if not, there's no grounds for you to be rude, anyway.

You're right, reading it again today it was a rude thing to say. Sorry teamguns.

I dont know any albanian that has not at least a gun in his home, it is a comon custom in albania to shoot some bullet in the sky after wedding for joy, or family festivities, we are a proud people and we will never renounce the right to own gun, we survived because of our resistence and hard custom and militarity valor, roman, greek and ottoman recognised it all! Illyrian warfare is legendary since 2 millenium BC Illyrians our ancestor were feared for their warlike culture and piracy (Liburnian thallasocrassy) in mediteranean they were not easily subjegated, we do not renounce never, and we fight until the last man for our FREEDOM! Kosovo is best example of it, bloody serbs tried to force them surrender and keep them, result was one of the biggest war in europe, that is not totally over yet, citizens, children, women and men, everyone took arms to defend their rights and freedom against serbian tyranny!

Fun fact, Lithuania which has fairly restrictive gun laws has a higher homicide rate than Albania, which has less restrictive gun laws.

Appologies accepted, but truth is I didn't even took it as a personal targeting lol

Hmmm, war is always bad and so was the Kosovo war. But considering it as one of the biggest wars that Europe had it's simply ignoring Europe's past lol

Wikipedia says that 13,548 civilians and fighters dead overall (Albanians, Serbs, Bosniaks, Roma)

Some medieval battles had casualties higher than that.

Look at Illinois, a state that has crazy insane gun laws (compared to my native Wisconsin). The largest city (and to many, they think it's the c(r)apital), Chicago, hits 500+ homicides a year REGULARLY.

Look at Los Angeles (and it's suburbs, like Compton), a city that sits within California, another state with restrictive gun laws, the Los Angeles Greater Metro Area is in the 1 and 2 highest gun related homicide rankings next to the Chicago Greater Metro Area.

Lets also go back to Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. All 3 had HEAVILY restrictive gun laws, and between the 3 killed 90 million people MINIMUM. Showing that simply abolishing guns (which the people pushing for gun control eventually want), will breed tyranny.

And finally, lets review a quote from Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Japanese Navy, Isoroku Yamamoto.
"You cannot invade the mainland United States. There will be a rifle behind every blade of grass.".
Today, the US has the best armed civilian population in the world (and history), with an average 89 guns per 100 people. There is an estimated 100 million legal gun owners in the US (this is excluding people with illegally obtained guns), with an estimated 300 million guns. This all points to the fact that IF the most technologically advance and the best equipped military the world has ever seen is ever defeated, the Civilian population of the US could repel an invasion on their own.

At any rate, if gun controle will save more lives at the cost of more government controle, so be it. Is this agreeable?

If it did, I'd agree to it.
