While Ruthless Bastard has not ever won a seasonal, let's take a look at how he's done ever since the 4th season:
Season IV: 6th place, Less than 100 points behind first
Season V: 2nd place, less than 50 points away from winning, losing his final game
Season VI: 2nd place, 5 points behind unknownsoldier in first, once again loses his final game
Season VII: 6th place
Season VIII: 2nd place, 35 points behind Heyheuhei in first, Loses to HHH in his second to last game
Season IX: 10th place
Season X: FFA Season, Not an accurate measure of skills
Season XI: 3rd place, less than 100 points behind first, take out a loss to Odin, and he wins the season
Even though he has never won a seasonal, he has placed in the top 10 in the last 7 1v1 seasonals. Top 6 in 6/7. Top 3 in 4/7. Top 2 in 3/7.
4 times, one less loss would put him in first place. With different luck, Ruthless Bastard could be a 4-time seasonal winner. As it is, he is an example of what could have been. I feel he deserves some recognition for consistently finishing strong :) Keep up the good play Ruthless Bastard!
