Jokes aside, i think that would be an easy extra income for fizzer and i bet people would buy it. Maybe make it member only so you can't just bypass membership with that.

Yes, extra money. But now think the opposite side. At moment we all know the vacation limit and time-frame. But with the option to buy one - what will be the new limit. I think it my reduce games where vacation is enabled.

I would rather go for option where someone could buy vacation-extension, where he may get maybe just one extra vacation and all remaining vacations would be allowed to last +2 or +3 days longer.

I really don´t see how this would solve the issue of diminished value of the "enabled Vacation setting", if one (each player) can use the 7x + buy extras. Even the 7x for me seems too much, so I disable it always and stick to the "code of honor" with only direct boot, thus far this has been enough if I or someone needs Warlight-free weekend or a holiday.

Define abusing the system? - whether it is increasing or stable a rich can afford it anyway. Yes, it discourages, but does not change the fact. I think I have seen a thread or uservoice about it, but I would feel more comfortable if Host could set a Vacation rules for example, each player can be on vacation x-Times, and no longer than x-days; or up to x-days max; or game has x-day/time vacation count - when it runs out - no vacation applies furthermore. In my case, then I would add "vacation enabled" in games knowing that, it wont get delayed too much.

Just to let you know once more, I never use autoboot, when playing with friends, never needed one. Have delayed games up to month-2 and 3. Just need this feature for open-games, that could use reserve time, but the excess vacation seems too much sometimes, especially when there are 30 players, and estimated game time is 4 months, what you do not want to play longer than a year. There are definitely times when one needs to take vacation in this long time frame, but if everyone does that, the 4 month turning to 1-year is just too much for most of us.

Well I get to spend about a month total each year with my parents, sibling, and closer friends from high school before jumping back into the college grinder. Just another year of this and then I'll only really do a Thanksgiving visit, so for me the time is pretty nice and valuable.

I typically go full Luddite and just cut off everything. It's nice and relaxing.

Last time I ran out of vacations, I just took the boots. But now I'm in Clan League, so this is gonna detract a bit.

I'm just saying, if you have the money and you're trying to be funny, or if you just don't feel like playing, then yeah, that could happen. I don't like the idea of unlimited vacations, even if they're not free.

Make the cost double for each vacation over the limit?

Bill Gates doesn't exactly play Warlight. No need to focus on outlandish abuse scenarios all the time.

Plus if Gates did play and he wanted extra vacations, buying Warlight itself is pocket change for him.

Some people like trolling because it gives a type of adrenaline usually. If it is not entertaining to troll why do you think people do it? Trolling a game for weeks/months is not very trolling it's just boring.

Extra vacations shouldn't be a trolling problem IMO, The extra vacations as Mod pointed out would be easy income for Fizzer as people value there vacations a lot. If it's reasonably priced, I would sell it as a pack of vacations not individually , Maybe 3 for 15$ sounds reasonable.

No harm in uservoicing it regardless of what people say.

Extra vocation fees should be paid to other players. In the most optimistic scenario this will be a good deal for all: rich vacation goers get their vacation, trolls feel they get ppl trolled, regular players earn money by waiting for others' vacation or getting trolled.

Not everyone has a credit card/debit card to accept money. I don't think I personally would feel I need to be "compensated" for someone busy in life and they have to pay directly to me. I would much prefer the money going to WarLight.
