  The first templates are all cool and enjoyable for me. All 1vs1 after #19 turkey ld are rather bad and i might not join them (france ld excluded). There is no space for commander in competitive events. Turkey ld can make up for very long boring games and europe 1vs1 is a simple and to a big part luck based template (see the example game). I don't like poland but maybe there are players that like it. It's not that awful
  
  The teamgames are very special. Maybe consider allowing players to join with other players instead of alts? I'd prefer not to log in and out on alts, mainly because i use the app.
  
  1st question: What about the world of warhammer as repacement for one of the templates above? (Link coming). Also battle islands multiattack is pretty popular (Link)
  
  2nd question: i like 1, 2, 7 and battle islands/snowy mountains as 4th template.
  
  3rd question: feel free to do as you please. Please no commander but maybe also consider using the templates of the grand slams again for the Masters 1000.
  
  4th question: remove turkey ld, commander, poland, europe nc. I didn't check all games for settings that don't fit the original templates, but i hope you got them right.

Grand Slam votes are 2 points, Masters votes are 1 points, and -1 points if you wrote about a template should remove. There are fragment points too, if you choose more than 4 Grand Slam templates for example.

templates not part of the initial list you provided will be biased against because most people wouldn't know they could have voted for it.

You are right, and I know this.
But most of those templates are not belong to the most popular ones imo.

I think, there are three important things when we choose the Tour templates, the templates should be:

• strategical
  
• popular
  
• varied

And this is the order for the different Tour event type too.

I mean, all Tour event templates must be strategical, this is the fund, it applies to every Tour type (starting from 250 Series ending to Grand Slams)

The popularity of the templates is important mainly for the 12 major events.
I mean, we can use less popular templates for 250 Series events (even for 500 Series events (but need little more popular ones)), but for major events we need the most popular templates.

And finally, the variety is important mainly for the four Grand Slam events, because if somebody will reach the Grand Slam (win all the four Grand Slam) that will mean he can win in 4 different settings, not only one type.

Most posted new templates here are simple not belong to the most popular category (maybe am I wrong?) so not important now (choosing the 12 major event templates).


Ok, we should go step by step, so first try only choose the four Grand Slam templates.
Based on the received votes and opinions so far, I think the old 1v1 ladder will be the one of the four Grand Slam, this is not a question. So we need only three more :)

I decided that later I will start a team series without alts with separated team rankings just like in the tennis (the ATP doubles rankings), so I fold the team major events with alts idea.

Because the importance of variety, I made three different voting group, we should choose only one from all of them.

Actually, rather than change the vote system... I think it would be better if you got rid of it entirely and chose the templates by yourself.^^

It is your league, and you've done a really awesome job of organizing it and picking good templates so far.
Based on your previous messages, for example your last one, you clearly have a vision for this league. And the best way to make it come true is to be a dictator, not let the people vote. :p
I'm not saying you shouldn't listen to our opinion. You can ask us which templates we like, which ones we don't like, which ones we could add to the Tour.... but ultimately, I think you should make all the calls.

If you let us vote, I'm worried we'll all end up with the same popular templates, the ones from the 1v1 and real-time ladders.
Take the B templates for example. I have never played on Poland or Macedonia so I would end up voting for Strategic Greece or French Brawl, and I don't think I'm the only one in this position.
I love Strategic Greece, it's a great template. But perhaps Poland and Macedonia are great too, and closer to the idea you have for your tour. :)

I agree completely with rakleader. It's great that you ask for our input, but you shouldn't feel constrained by it. Do what you think makes the most sense.
