do u think its ok to boot players the first moment they go beyond time at 1-2 min games? (assuming if they joined a fast game its their problem)

Someone who loves to play 2 minute boot games probably isn't really the type to spend an hour reading old forum posts before they speak their mind...

if you CAN boot you a guy, then it's okay to do it. but then you might get those whinny kids come complaining on the forums.

allow me to clarify myself
i never creat such games, but altugh i seldom join, i still play at such.
just try/want to undersstand the common attitude of players who creat it.
if they create it in order really to finish game quickly, or to recive winnings by booting their opponents.
at the only game i got beyond time (1 min game)i got immediatly booted altugh it was pretty clear i was about to win it, of i know thats the attitude and reason for creating short time games i wont join such.

well, as you said it. there are both types of ppl playing this game. and if I had to take a wild guess I would say 3/4 ppl create 1 min boot games to get the win, and slightly less ppl for 2 minute boot. but really, unless you're playing 1v1 earth, there really is no reason to set the boot time less than 5 minutes. (I wouldn't join those short boot time games ever personally)

1-2 minute db or vtb games are designed to give the host the advantage via bootin.. and the small group of people that think that 5 minutes is too long for a turn..

i do think it s okay toi immediately boot, why ?
well there needs to be a time that it s okay to boot, and now there is this strange thought Fizzer had of actually putting that time into the settings of a game, and then he actually did that, and if everybody accepted that time there would be a lot less complaining in the forums.

oh, and i realy enjoyed some of the 2 min-boot games i joined, the host was kicking out everybody who went over the the boot time so i had to work hard to stay under the boot-time, the host went over boot-time a few times, but i didnt mind, crushing him was more fun (and the game wasnt actually stalled much anyhow)

You joined a 2 min speed game. Meaning you have 2 mins to submit your orders. Why should you gain an "unfair" advantage over any player with extra time just because you have more troops to deploy?

If you want to take your sweet time to make sure your orders are the best they can be play multi day games. If you enjoy watching turns and taking some time to think of your orders play 5/10 min boot games.

Are players in chess allowed extra time on their clock? Are basketball players allowed extra time to cross half-court? Are football players allowed extra time to snap the ball? rules are rules, i suggest you read settings before joining a game and follow the rules."
