Brain, not really win a tourney, but yes, if you want A League, you have to finish well in a playoff type system. It ensures that only the best are admitted.

Neither of the candidates have done anything overly impressive though. As for Yeon I thought he was impressive at 2v2 when paired up with Mian and then Aziridine, figured that was blatantly obvious.

Green Beret and TWM cannot pull off what Krzychu pulled off. TWM has been involved with multiple WGL weekend tournaments and has never netted a win on both 1v1 and 2v2 back to back. Krzychu shows long-term commitment to the ladder and has a better record than both combined with top players. My point is you've presented 2 candidates that are not ready to be considered candidates. I'm not arguing that they cannot win this tourney. I cannot make that determination. I am arguing that they do not show consistent ability to be honored with such an honor.

I mean both of them no offense. Everyone I have mentioned are only examples though. I'm merely pointing out it's almost criminal to consider these people, yet not also consider people at or above their skill level. People who have CONSISTENTLY shown to be above their skill level, should be allowed to play as well.

JSA I am always looking out for under rated 1v1 players. Who besides yeon has caught your eye?

It ensures that only the best, who haven't trolled/insulted me, are admitted.

Only a true man can be that honest.

I'll play if I qualify. I show potential. And my name is short and easy to remember, which should help sway the voters.

Krzychu
Latnox
Pulsey
Pyrrhus (Gambler).

Those four definitely can surprise top tier players. And yes - [20] without Gui is a joke. If he's at least a bit serious about competing, let him in without a word.

with a bit of luck, anyone who has ever reached top 20 in the ladder is capable of beating every player on this site.

This is not an honor. It's an opportunity. Being accepted into [20A] or even [20B] is an honor. This is to find which players actually belong in [20A] and give them an oppurtunity to prove themselves.

Piggy, Green Beret and Yeon are the only two that have caught my eye that have never played 1v1 ladder (at least in past year or two). I have not had too much oppurtunity to see new talent since my return to warlight about half a month ago. I am constantly on the lookout though.

Lolowut, Krzychu can make no case he belongs in [20A]. Look at the ladder, his last 12 games or so. He is 4-8, most of his games are not even agaisnst great players. He's a good player, but we have a pretty good idea of how good he actually is and he's not a great player.

Green Beret is 2-0 agaisnt Longhouse in recent tournaments, 1-0 against abr, 0-1 against Gambler, 1-0 against Krzychu, 0-2 agaisnt Frankdeslimste, 0-1 agaisnt Tenshi. He is 3-2 in a tournament where 7 guys have played fast and have games done. He is above Gambler who is 3-3, he has the tiebreaker on Longhouse who is 4-2, abr is 2-3, Krzychu is 2-4. So compared to the two potential [20A] qualifiers, he is doing better than them, and is showing he can actively compete against [20A] plaeyrs.

And yeah, Gui's a given if he wants in.

Why are you convinced Krzychu is better than Green Beret? You have no evidence to back it up at all that I see.

Brain, Gambler, Krzychu are all shoe-ins for [20B] I think, and if you win [20B], you are automatically put into [A] for next season, and if you finish well, you can be added into the qualification process.

Qualification is not saying these players are better than anybody not qualified. It is saying that they deserve to be given a shot for a success they had in something. I also think it is likely only 13-14 of the orignial players that I asked about this are intersted. A few will be too busy, and grona and zibik might not even be interested. Krzychu and Gambler are two of my next options.

Just found this tournament:
http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?TournamentID=6310

Kryzchu and Warlightmaster both are active that tournament and get booted none. WarlightMaster is 12-7, Kryzchu is 10-8. Why are you convinced Kryzchu is better than him?

That doesn't make sense. If I was jsa, why would I give up my spot in [20A] only to try to qualify for [20A] again? It makes no sense in my mind.

let me demonstrate the art of 'jay'.

I hereby declare to the world my recent results with the 'top' players mentioned along with my name, for i assume that you all are eager to know about my win rates.

I have won my last 9 1v1 games in a row against Krzychu, with the last being this one as evidence: http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=4908101
9 game streak! I am clearly greater than krzychu!

Now, let us talk about gambler!

Out of my last 12 games against Gambler, I have won 8 and only lost 4. It is clear that Gambler is no match for me.

Therefore, i declare myself 20A worthy!

As you can see, God has blessed us all with this evidence, what evidence do you petty mortals have against me?

PS: This is all true, making it more 'jay'
