I was in a multigame with my son; and he went on vacation (ironically to visit me). While he was here - he didn't make a move -- and was subsequently booted.
Is there a way to allow him back in the game?
Thanks

The only way would be to have boot players turn into AI and allow people coming back from AI

No but there is an option to go into vacation mode on a profile which will mean you cannot get booted for the specific time period however this is only true in games where vacations are honoured. To start a vacation you need to go into settings and set vacation.

^^ and if he's a high enough level to have unlocked them. If you check my profile, you will see a "v" that means I'm on vacation. That prevents me from getting booted out of most games.

some games can also be configured to not allow vacations. so you still get booted even though you set vacations.
to summarize: depends on the game settings, but mostly you can't recover from boot unless very specific conditions: return from AI, as mentioned by others already.

I appreciate the rapid responses (even if the answer is not what I hoped for). My son didn't set vacation mode, and the game was configured without the booted-player to AI set on.
Thanks!
