@piggy: Brain explained my #6 pick pretty well in the other thread. If I have scan to spoil both russias, then I don't need another spoiler. I do however need safe/safish income. That's what east china was for. It's rarely black-and-white what are good picks and what aren't though. That badly-placed warlord could have backfired.

I've mainly analyzed my own games and improved from there. What in my style reminds you of sze's?

Its hard to write about, but you come across as playing safe, lots of tried and tested picking strategies like picking 3 double picks or safe 1/2 and then 3/4/5 across a fertile area like a FTB.

You are fairly cautious and like to win by having a higher income or better position rather than by being aggressive (zaeban) or getting inside an opponents head and out playing them from an even position (gnuffles) or both (timi).

Sure, that sounds familiar. I'm also trying to get into the opponent's head, but I realize that guessing also has its limits.
