Especially in multi-day games, it would be nice to have a per-game private notepad (like private notes for players). This could be useful to help remember armies behind the fog, cycle order, plans for future turns, etc.

Does anyone else agree?

Yes it would be useful.

If you are hosting your own games, you can make 1v1 a team game, then you have team chat. Which is what you really want :)

IMH, Team Chat should just always be there.

^ Great idea. It should be easy to implement and is a decent solution.

However, there's probably a UX reason for hiding team chat in ladder and auto games. Also, it might be useful to be able to update your notes, but just having read-only team chat would be an improvement.

Game notes might be more useful for multi-day games. If you're in several MD games and you've been away for a weekend, you might not immediately remember the entire game state of each game.

I agree, it might be handy to use in MD games, but I don't think it's handy when playing on RT games, but that's just the way how I think about it.

I disagree. I have pretty bad short term memory, so it is helpful for me to write stuff down. Notes are best for diplos.
