I'm new to multi-player. Been playing it for a couple of weeks now and really enjoy it.

What I don't enjoy is a really good game being ruined when somebody quits or gets booted on the second or third round.

I play to try to win, have fun and learn. I'm new, so playing for a while even after I know I can't win still teaches me things. I will surrender when it is obviously time to do so, but I've been in games where a team mate has surrendered even when we were winning, just because he didn't like a move another team member made.

My question is this: Is there a "no quitters' league or clan or something?

I know you can check the boot history of people, but I'd rather just play with people I can be pretty sure from the start or going to hang around until the game outcome is obvious.

Playing open games tends to lend to not the best crowd. If you play with specific people you liked playing with, then games tend to work better. There is no such "no-quitters league", but there are some decent people. Just keep track of them and try to play games with them :)

there is no such league.

only way to achieve that is to increase the prerequisites of games to low bootrates.

join a clan or play with people from clans (most clans have a requirement of less than 10% boot rate)
