Smedly, for someone who acts like the world is white and black, I don't think even you can honestly tell me or anyone the right way to solve this. Well, the US did fund programs to send Africans back to Africa, which is more just than setting up a separate state thousands of miles from where they came from, but besides that inaccuracy I see your point. However, there was a general call among Jews ( Zionist or not ) to go home. Muslims had dominated the region for years and had had relatively lax rule with the British ( from what I remember ). Also, we have to remember that Muslims in general were just plain unreasonable. Screaming Allah Akbar every five minutes does not really send Jews a good message. Plus, you know, there was that whole war of......Israelis entire life span thing. But if a bunch of Scots set up a nation near the Ohio river I would not be too happy either I suppose. The point is Jewish occupation of Pali was unfair, but so was the American expansion into the west, the British mistreatment of the Boers, and Stalins massacre of millions. Yet, nobody is trying to fix those problems with money or land. They are trying to give the displaced shelter and food and yes even welfare. Its not a fair or perfect system of helping those who were cast aside when the world pursued something, but its the best we have so far. So the moment anyone begins calling for Muslims retaking Israel, they must understand the are tipping a over an age old rule on the matter of dealing with these problems. Because the fact is Israel will not be retaken by Arabs. It just will not happen. So, realistically, they might as well make use of what they can do.

either way, Muslim nations need to get off their ass and actually help the west bank ( Israel supplies everything those people have besides the occasional UN candy bar ), Israel needs to stop being so darn defensive seeing how their only real threat is Hamas, and the occupied regions need to reform their government so they aint blowing crap up constantly.

Hey, instead of passively trying to disourage his trolling, you could try using the voting mechanism to dv any low-signal, high-noise trollish comments. I've been doing it consistently whenever I read one. It takes so little time to do, and if more people were to do it, those comments would get hidden and the forums would be much better off.

Besides, it starves the troll of attention. Instead of adding a comment to the derail, just dv.

If enough people consistently do this (in a principled manner, not voting wars), trolling will lose all incentive, and people will put more thought into their comments. Then, in the future, downvoting will become much less necessary.

The Jews were committing terror attacks, were fighting a war against the Muslims, and ended up ethnically cleansing a large part of Palestine. After I started getting refugees talking about that, I would have to seriously consider my course of actions in relation to this, but for more hot headed folk, I could see them jumping to war immediately.

I'm also not saying Israel should go to the Muslims, I'm saying Israel should stop pointing nuclear weapons at Tehran and bitching about their situation.
