Who are your 10 most feared opponents?

Mine are:
1. Dead piggy: I am 2-9 against him, he just always guesses me very well.
2. Timinator: I haven't played him much, but he is a great player and very, very good.
3. Gnuffone: I seem to win about half of my 1v1 against him but he is very fearsome and a very good teamplayer as well.
4. Teddy: If his recent ladder success doesn't scare you, what will?
5. Widzisz: He used to be my most feared, and I still struggled to beat him even once he came back from his long break.
6. Brisk: Very good player
7. Gui: I feel like I've probably played him many of his alts but I never know when they are him or someone else. He probably knows my style well and can predict me while I have very little experience with playing him while knowing its him.
8. Myhand: Same as Gui
9. Falker: Very good player, I tend to win about half with him
10. Dreuj: Same as Falker, although he used to beat me much more than half :)

Anytime I see one of these 10, I know I will be in for a very rough game.

Honestly it depends on the settings and the map. I notice that some players who seem to play supurbly on ladder settings can fail pretty hard on certain 0% straight round templates. It also depends on the context. Some top players will use real time games to experiment with strategies, for instance, and that can make them very beatable.

Unfortunately I think I'm at a level where there's at least 50 people I'd expect to lose to going into a match. :P

The LRA clan was by far the scariest clan to face in a diplomacy game considering their history in the past of taking over games and wrecking havoc. That was ancient history.

dead piggy is top of my easiest win list :p

Summer, Anikan Churan, Ema20, HHH, schmit and thats about it..

JSA, you didn't MENTIONATE me mate, we are 16-2 for me, only in 1v1

Please make me happy and put me on the top of that list.

Red - You've come to the point when he does not fear you. he just accepts the defeat before each game even starts :D

I have a teory about that: there are always someone who you simply cannot beat coz his gamestyle is like paper for a stone.

... at least i explain it this way to myself everytime red beats me ☺

No.1: JUPITER. He beats me even when he surrenders.

TWM, Kerosea, Dom are the people I seem never to win against.

Nobody but myself.

The only people I fear (because i feel like I should be able to stay close to them, but beat my ass every time)are Apollo and Gaja. Both these guys manage to beat me everytime :\

The only person I fear is my mother. I'm losing to her at 50 - 9!

Anonymous, I don't fear you it's been 6 months since we last played, and in 2013 I am 2-3 against you. I lose to you more than I should, but when I see your name, I think, oh this should be a fun game, but I have a good chacne of winning. Against dead piggy, I'm like Ah shit, I will have to be lucky to win this game.

And if you want to look at stats, I am 2-10 on 1v1 agasint you, all 7 losses coming in 2011 and 2012 when I was much worse than I am now. You are a strong player but I don't fear you.

1= myhand & gui - their devastating psychological insights always undermine my self-esteem. plus gui might threaten to beat me up.

3 boston - im afeared of beating him especially when he is drunk or if his beloved socks have lost. he gets angry and scary and uses lots of naughty words like "fuck" (sorry).

4 aranka - she might irrevocably invert my misogynistic paradigm and i'm just not ready for the sheer amount of truth she drops at will

5 anti-x capybara - he haunts me and makes shit float around my room, it's not fun

6-10 [shrug]

My most feared are FlyingBender aka FlyingBurrito and dreuj. I didnt score a single win against this FlyingGuy. He is Krypton. And I cherish the one ladder win against dreuj very highly. =) That was the single situation where a plan spanning several turns actually worked out into victory. All other games against him were lost. I am just wondering why he dropped so many places when he was still in the ladder. I was really wondering why he actually could be beaten so often. MathWolf is another, but I haven't played him for like ever, so maybe I learned this and that lessons since that time. Dunga is so, so. For some time I thought he was easy game, but the last two games including the ladder game were very plain lost and I hadn't had a glimpse of a chance. So sad he is gone. Like there is no lion in the jungle anymore? Where is the challenge now? Nah, just kidding. ;) And thanks for the honorable mention, Piggy. =) The ladder game against you was absolutely lucid and one of my favorites. Will I be able to pull that off again ever?

I fear Boston, knowing that he will hurl verbal insults at me I if I win (eg lucky shit), and hurl verbal insults at me if I lose. Not to mention sometimes he wouldnt let me rest until he finally wins.

Oh yes, I fear jay too, for I know if I lose against hin, he will distribute the game link like pamphlets.

I fear general arun as well, being one of the worst players on wl, if General arun ever beats me I'll be ashamed of myself.

I have a 0-2 record against General Arun on Strategic Medium Earth. I put that on my profile and hope that ppl underestimate me ;)
