The Pale has a *lot* of borders and you might consider upping its bonus to 5 to compensate. But it looks good overall. You considered doing all of Tamriel next?
I want TES to make a world as big as Daggerfall but as detailed as the newer games..
and personally I disagree Smorg.. the Pale does have lots of borders, and will be highly difficult to defend, but Whiterun Hold and Hjalmarch are just as difficult, and the bonus/territory ratio for all three are the same.
If anything I think Winterhold will need a boost, It has no territories that aren't on a border, similar to the 1/1 locations, but has the -1 bonus of the bonuses that do have protected territories
Wonderful, I love the Elder Scrolls world. I need to replace my computer, this one can't run Oblivion anymore, and even Morrowind is giving it trouble now...I need something that can play Skyrim, and preferably I need it soon enough that I can play through the first four ES games in a marathon before getting it.
Anyways, about the Pale, all four of its territories are borders with other regions, but more importantly it can be attacked *from* eleven different territories, more than any other region in the game. If you're playing against only one other person, this matters not at all, but as you add more players, holding the Pale becomes more and more difficult, because the odds that multiple players will be trying to take it from you skyrockets.
Where did you get the link to the preview of your map? I also just created a new map and wanted to post the link so others can preview the map. I still have it in testing, but have created a test game to debug the map some.
