Hey Fizzier... I enjoy the "Notable Victories" feature in the Ladder profiles. However recently I won against a game against a player who once upon a time was 1st in the ladder, but got booted from the game pre-distribution. Perhaps it wouldn't be such a bother not to include games won pre-distribution in the "Notable Victories" links?

It's not that specific. He wants actual games to be on there not bootwins, which is imo a logical thought.

It would be nice if notable victories showed players that were actually hard for you to beat imo. All 3 of mine are boot wins, which is kinda annoying.

It should probably be the player the one that chooses his notable victories.

I agree with bishop and japan. Boot wins should be excluded from notable victories.

Well, if I win and the person has the same or higher income than I do, its not that notable.

If I have more armies/income than them and they get booted, okay, it may be notable.

boot wins shouldn't be excluded, turn 0 boots though I'd be fine with excluding.

But otherwise you'll have someone "good" lose, and then decide to let themselves get booted so they don't show as the losers notable win.

I k, but ladder notables only count ladder games (ofc lol). It has more visibility too.

It makes no sense to me if you have an awesome tough game with a player that got max idk 10th be thrown out of the list because of a boot win or a win on picks with a higher maxed player.

Best games/notable victories are better chosen by the players themselves.

Or highlight wins against Semi, ohhh wait... yes showcase wins against trollz...nvm you already mentioned it.

@Omni & Pooh: very good point: we agree only pre-distribution boots should be excluded from the list.
