It's people who have nothing going on well in real life who feel the need to justify themselves with hopes that their skin colour / religion / opinions / beliefs / alleged intelligence makes them better than other people.

"You like anime. Your opinion is invalid."
"You belong to a race which has a 1% lower average IQ than my race. You're an idiot."

Arguments like these are petty because they embody somebody trying to justify themselves because humanity hasn't been very kind to them. If something disagrees with them, it's Jewish! If something is popular, it must be wrong! Because, like someone who dreads popularity because they're a complete stranger to the concept throughout their younger years, the popular opinion is the one that the idiot-unenlightened masses are, and the super-niche edgy opinion is correct because... I say so! I have to invalidate somebody's right to an opinion instead of listening to them. People who oppose me are BETA CUCK SCUM. I'm better than everyone else and the more I say it, the more it feels like the truth. I'm the best!
