Hasn't it already been irellevant in the western world since the fall of the soviet union?
Cultural Marxism is a product of the West and of global capitalism. It is a Trotskyist movement, and nothing like the insular ethno-nationalist USSR. You're mistaken economic Stalinism for cultural Marxism.
Marx himself was not a proponent of cultural Marxism, he supported the working class' war on the bourgeoisie within the ethnostate - he would not have extended the struggle to African people which he saw as less evolved and therefore incapable of cooperation.
Cultural Marxism opposes the ethnostate - it aims to combine cultures and identities by condensing them into one global community; because cultures and identities arise from separation, effective Cultural Marxism destroys all cultures and identities over time. Destruction of heritage and traditionalism is good for capitalism. A traditional society of nuclear families doesn't spend as much as a hedonist, party-going, consumerist society that wastes their money on instant gratification. A lost population with no culture is more likely to accept material gain as the true goal in life.
The current state of affairs in the West favors cultural Marxism far more so than any Leninist or Stalinist of the Soviet era. We seek to open all borders, import people from different places, and topple our anti-globalist opponents (namely Russia). American foreign policy favors a uni-polar world.
