There is no possible justification for making any one bonus so much more valuable. The only reason to do so is to hope that you can pull a fast one over on your opponents and claim it first, thus ensuring victory.
Serves as a good reminder to always check settings outside of the auto-games.

Vostro, Personally I find that *any* settings are acceptable in a practice game.. some of them are still underhanded, but it provides an alternative form of entertainment, and sometimes frustration for the unwary..
some of the old guard used to set-up matches similar to this -group vs one with advanced bonuses/armies/etc.- but generally they tended to make it clear the circumstances before the game started

Perrin, it is a shame I cannot provide proof of team chat. The impression he gave was that it was intentional the other team were oblivious to the perverse settings.
