Hello,
I'd like to hear from Fizzer about the following modification to the toolbar. IWould it be possible to implement a toolbar that'd count the probability of taking a territory with combined attacks? For example the standard question in Europe map is "can I defend my starter with 10 armies against a 9+4 attack"? If you are really busy I could design it from mathematical point of view (very easy using simple probability methods). Would it be possible to implement it in a new realease sometime? I'm not a programmer, so I have no idea if that'd be hard to compute or take a lot of time, but I doubt it...

Hey, that's a great idea! It would add more strategy and less luck.

exacly i really hate when i attack a neutral with 4 armies and i don't conquer it or once where i lost a game because of this i had 24 defending armies and he attacked me with 27 and he won ... so yea that would be great

How would this help in a situation where 27 kills 24? That is just plain bad luck and completely unrelated.

I do these calculations on my own, but wouldn't mind such a feature to exist. But to truly reduce the influence of luck, the default luck influence rate has to go to 0. I hate it when I am attacking with 40 armies and can't kill 15...

You remove the luck and you remove all the fun of it.
Makes it wholly unrealistic (not that it is exactly realistic now) and boring. Just about straight math and probability and no real strategy.

Never mind the fact that 40 failing to take 15 has a 0.1% chance of occurring and would likely be eliminated by anything but 100% luck based on the averaging function that luck uses.

Death... let me know if you want to try a 0-luck game.
