The investigation isn't "reopened". That part was a complete lie. In fact it was never technically closed- they were still scooping up the minor details, and this was one of those minor details.

If the investigation was complete (maybe not officially closed, but done investigating evidence) and now they are now looking at new evidence, how is that not reopened?

The FBI doesn't investigate things for their health, they investigate things that are criminal in nature.

With respect to reopening investigation:
My vote is on d.

All that happened was one dude tweeted "case reopened" and the media completely lost their shit

They found some emails on a device once owned by Anthony Weiner... they have no idea what the emails even are yet. There's a very good chance that they're some of the exact same emails they've already found elsewhere and deemed safe.

It doesn't indicate mishandled use of information- it doesn't even indicate that Hillary withheld anything from the FBI- so there is zero evidence of any wrongdoing from Hillary yet

@epic, someone at the FBI brought thesee emails to the attention of the director of the FBI.

The director thinks it is serious enough to 1) open investigation and 2) inform congress.


Remember, this is the hero that HRC was championing last July for impeccable integrity. NOW he's a villian?

I don't think anything that Clinton would do here with these emails would stack up to Trump. At least Clinton wants to evade mistakes like these, while Trump says things as to unband environmental regulation and for "boots on the ground".
