Hi

I would like to know your opinion about a situation that can happen in a diplomacy game.

Normal rules for a diplomacy game (every alliance, ceasefire and declaration should be public. Wait one turn before attack. etc.) and multi-attack mode is on.

situation:
-Spain is allied with France;
-France doesn't have any public agreement with Germany;
-Germany declares war on Spain;
-Since Germany has no direct border with Spain, France agreed (in private, not public) to let Germany pass through;
-Germany (after waiting one turn) uses multi-attack and takes Spain.

In this situation, did someone break the rules?

Since when is that normal rules? Maybe for toxic ass open games where you RT plebs need rules for it, but definetely not "normal" in my games :P

Also >multiattack on a diplo

Bashing aside, access does not consist on the rules in play, so nope.

Since Germany agreed on letting them pass there is no prolem.

Also, Multi-Attack and Diplo sounds cancerous.

The only purpose of the rule that says; "You should declare your alliance in the Public Chat" is if there is another rule limiting the declaration of war on allied players, for example; "Break alliance one Turn prior to declaring war on allied players".

The purpose of the former rule, to make alliances known, is to ensure that nobody makes false claims of an alliance. If the alliance was brokered in Private, nobody can be sure that is happened at all. That is the only purpose. Hope that helps.

Why the hell would you have multi-attack on in a diplomacy?

Depends whether the rule is stated or not, if so it's PE, if not it's just rude and I'd blacklist Germany and France.
