As for the second part of your post, I don't know those symbols as I 've not studied logical theory. I guess you think that I tried to pretend to be smart, but if so, you are entirely wrong. I never claimed to be the mistress of logic or anything like that. But if there has been ONE person between me and Perrin applying logic, this is definitely me. His post just above mine is so much of a paradox as you claim your example to be. All in all, your post insults me. Therefore you are too small for my eyes. This situation actually makes me think that all this argument goes on because we just don't have the same native language. You know, each language has a different way to express things, and mine is rare. So it's very likely that we all are right, each one for his/her own native language... Here we tend to separate racism into racial racism, national racism, business-related racism and so on (but for goodness sake, not racism against tomatoes!)... Racism, as I know it, only has to do with people. Other kinds of racism: religious racism, racism against good and/or bad students, financial racism (which is the exact definition of capitalism in the form we know it right now)... I really hope I made myself clear this time. I am tired of all this misunderstanding and am trying to solve it. At least you can't deny that fact. Ah, let me clarify this as well: business-related racism and financial racism are NOT THE SAME THING. If you consider teachers as superior to salesmen/women, this is business-related racism. But if you don't look at job titles and just think of money income as the ultimate criterion for people, this is financial racism. So, to come to myself, I feel that the average American and German mentalities are wrong in many issues, so when I hear/read that someone is American or German, odds are that I 'll most often disagree with that person. Racism is the discrimination of someone based on their race, therefor using the word racism as a synonym for discrimination is incorrect, the word you should be using is discrimination not racism.

The correct terms you are looking for are:

racist = bigot
racism = bigotry

Racism is bigotry that is specifically applied to an ethnicity. You could make a fair claim to say that Germany has had enough time to blend together that you might be able to isolate (and genetically corroborate) a racial stereotype. The USA hasn't had nearly enough time for that, and is very much lacking in ethnic homogeneity.

In any event, since you are speaking not of ethnic Germans (ie descendants of the Goths, the Vandals, the Angles, and so on) but of German citizens (who might well be east Indian or Turkish &etc) then it's not proper English to say you are racist against them because it is too specific to be accurate. Just say you are bigoted against them and you'll be spot on.

The real problem is that he thinks he isn't a bigot/racist despite admitting that the is prejudicial against specific groups. That would be like one of us here saying they aren't racist, they just hate blacks. That is THE definition of being racist, regardless of how you treat every other race.

I'd submit that there actually isn't a problem anyways. If an account starts spouting racist nonsense, it'll get banned and we all move on pretty much unaffected.

My brain was hurting just trying to wrap it around the paradoxes Creeping Death was creating in her arguments. I tried to understand them all, in order to alleviate the pain.

Then I discovered a better drug. I added her to my blacklist and decided to never deal with her.

I feel much better now.
