I am a little confused about the rule regarding playing for different clans at different seasons.

If I play for Darklords CL9 and then Across CL10 I can play for Across (or any other clan not Darklords) CL11 and then Finally CL12 I can play for Darklords again correct? Or could I have played for Darklords CL11?

If I'm understanding it correctly it seems a little excessive to ban someone from playing for the same clan for two seasons seeing as each CL take a year.

@Rikku
Yes, you can play for another clan after 2 seasons end. In your example from Season 12
It is done for restrict the advantages gained via allied clans

Can someone explain this Division C voting process to me if its done before the templates are even picked?

I think the process as it stands right now is:

-panel of players will pick best templates. 12 for 1v1, 6 for 2v2 and 4 for 3v3 if i'm correct.
-Clans from divisions A and B will be voting on which 6 1v1, 3 2v2 and 2 3v3 templates will actually be played on during the clan league
- After those templates are decided all the Stage 1 clans can vote on those templates to decide which will be played during stage 1 and which templates will be played during stage 2. In other words clans that will be 1st or 2nd in their groups will be able to practice early on, on those templates.

This is how much i know from the things i've followed although last part i don't know if it's confirmed but it was spoken about instead of deciding the templates at random which was the initial plan from the CL panel.

Not exactly.

The template panel will choose 12 1vs1 templates, 6 2vs2 templates and 4 3vs3 templates.

Then the Division A and B Clans vote on these template and rank them from 1 to 12 points (1 most preferred, 12 least preffered).

The top 6 1vs1 template, top 3 2vs2 templates and the top 2 3vs3 templates will be choosen to play in CL 9.

At the same time as Division A and B Clans are voting, the Division C clans are also voting on these 12 1vs1, 6 2vs2 and 4 3vs3 templates. They will also rank them from 1 to 12 points (1 point -> want them in stage 1, 12 points -> want them in stage 2).

Basically we all vote on the same time. Divison A and B Clans to decide the templates. Divison C Clans to rank all of the possible templates after their preference to play them in stage 1 or 2. So the panel will look at that list of Division C voting to see where the chosen templates from Division A and B votings were ranked in that list. This way they see which templates will be played in stage 1 and stage 2.

"Any player present in a clan's roster must also be a member of that clan on the date of the submission deadline. Alts are not permitted in the roster/line-up."
What defines as an alt again? (from what I previously understood it was the account that played CL but then from that reasoning once you played CL from one account you would be locked to play from that account forever)

Let's try to keep this simple. It'll be much appreciated if people play with one account in the CL. The spirit of the rule is to prevent people from playing for 2-3 clans as and when they choose, and alternate between these clans. If someone switches to a new clan, that is not a problem. It would also be much appreciated if people do not try to find loopholes(I'm sure someone will find one and then we'll fix it retrospectively).

Ok, so after all the votes are cast, the six 1v1, three 2v2 and two 3v3 templates are finalized and for Division C, only the votes cast of those selected templates are counted, lowest templates stage 1, highest stage 2. Makes sense to me.
