Yes, I do remember you! How have you been? I felt the same way in history class and some people didn't even know what communism and fascism was. It is truly sad to see how stupid people are becoming!
If not for WarLight, I may have ended up like one of the brain-dead idiots out in society. WarLight is one of the only places where I feel in my heart I can truly believe in the future of humanity, which should tell y'all something...
WarLight was the first place that gave me a sense of belonging, over 3 years ago. Today, I feel privileged to still be a part of this community, in spite of a long hiatus along the way and that I only do multi-day diplos nowadays.

I think that games are a apt foundation for the acquisition of knowledge.

During the formative years of my late teens, my experience of Warlight's community (and no doubt the game itself) was an essential step out of the intellectual murk that the young people of today are found to be wallowing in.

It has taught me more through the ruthless scrutiny of ideas, none above reproach, than any book. . .
It has taught me how to think for myself and not to take things on credit.
It has taught me much history, geography, (and indeed) sociology, psychology, philosophy, etc.

Fizzer, you have truly made a great game and a wonderful world for like-minded people to enjoy together.

Let us hope that it will only improve with time and will never lose sight of its humble beginnings.
