Devil is enlightened on the subject. However this struggle for power and government corruption across the board is not the doing of soldiers. No matter what country youre from you should have respect soldiers. Puting your life on the line for other people is a noble cause. 99% do it for the people of their countries not the government. Now if you want to get really philosophical you could talk about tibets view on government and military. As interesting as it is.... kinda beside the point tho i guess. In the end when your taxed, your a governments money. They want to protect their money.

Dion, that's pretty much what I was attempting to say..

I, as an American, honour and respect Veterans.. not US veterans.. although to my eyes they come first because they provided me a service, ofc' as any nations people should put their soldiers first..

and I honour the soldiers that the US veterans fought, in each and every war..

Soldiers are people that believe so strongly in their belief's, their nation, to stand up and put their life on the line to protect it, free it, earn it, etc. And anyone who is willing to do that, even if I disagree with the reasoning, deserves the utmost respect, Dead or alive, IMHO of course.
