It definitely has been a topic of discussion, many times. It's in very high demand, at least among the diplomacy circles. From my understanding, the only reason it hasn't been implemented yet is because it would be very complicated to code.

On the surface it doesn't seem that complicated - there could just be a boolean like "isAtWar", if it's false it could just not register the attack when clicked.

makes sense i just think itd bring the game to the next level with internal team making/breaking for alliances and such, thats all is really required as well as settings for victory conditions on games.
But its very true someone has to sit there and actually code the god damn interfaces into existence and make it compatible with what we have now.

thanks i was just curious, tbh doesnt seem like such a daunting task from my point of view.
but than again who the fuck am i right XD

Developers interest is not in that direction, secondly this game mode won´t support coin-games due to USA gambling laws or something like that. Although yeah, it seems there is heck of interest, same supports uservoice: https://warlight.uservoice.com/forums/77051-warlight-features/suggestions/1088481-peace-treaties - top voted idea.

Not to disappoint you, but it seems its never going to happen.

suggestion: Make it a buy-able feature like bomb cards. Also: Fuck US gambling laws, they scream "native suppression" all the way. Also, us lawn do not apply to us. ;)

Here's a list of rules I put together for some of my games. As long as you get players who are willing to follow the complex rules, it works perfectly fine. It's a lot of work for the host, however.

Quote from the developer: "Not on the immediate roadmap."
The reason why it hasnt been implemented is that it doesnt give more money.

@Kretoma

Well am not sure it has suggested before, but the deduced to that. And I agree on this point - even if it is not according to Fizzers liking, if it produces money go for it. But would the demand really be that great - you only need one host for that and I don´t recall much of hype in increased member-ship after commanders/bomb card were introduced.

And I assume you understand it applies to where the game registered, profit withdrawn, not who and where whom played.

And even if all conclusion lead to profitable feature, will the hard-coding pay it off?

Bytheway - I think this thread is in wrong section.
