doesn't it violate a rule to follow somebody around insulting and harassing them for several years? even if you are not technically violating the rules with any individual post, that body of work should be against the rules, no? i was once warned for 'baiting' somebody. i broke no rule, had no history with this person, and it was decided what i did 'baited' them to break the rules. wouldn't following somebody around being extremely rude and critical and demeaning them and everything they do, be pretty blatant baiting? even a reasonable person is going to respond in a rule-breaking way eventually.

i have somebody doing this to me, they've been doing it for over four years. the last few months have gotten really really bad. they show up in 100% of my threads being extremely rude and antagonizing me. and even mentioning and insulting me frequently in their own threads and posts when i'm not around.

worth noting that i never, ever seek this person out. it's 100% them coming after me all the time. always has been.

they will surely turn up here soon and insult me some more and tell the reasons they think i'm deserving of these insults. that doesn't matter. there are a lot of people on this site deserving of insults. that wouldn't make it ok for me to constantly harass and antagonize them in 100% of their threads for four years.

I have also asked this person on several occasions to leave me alone. That just elicits more insults and them increasing the harassment, as this post will probably also do.

Yeah I know some devious guy named MathWolf who has been continiously antagonising me as well. The guy isn't familiar with off-topic content and keeps acting seriously on my unserious often meaningful and satirical subjects. I tried not to respond but the staller keeps coming back with his antifun content. It's perhaps has to do that we live in the same country and whenever I make ludicrous statements about Belgium he plays the snob. He's a charicature of someone who always takes things seriously, never unseriously when it was intended as such. The pictures were a joke, get over it.

I don't think you've realized this yet, but Fizzer gives no fucks about this. If you report people for something he doesn't feel like dealing with, he's gonna warn you at some point.

We're talking about the guy who sees a massive backlog of not-dealt-with reports as a "too many reports" problem instead of a "too few mods" problem. So don't count on him to get this right ever, because he simply isn't interested in doing so.

Good luck. And if you're actually struggling with the abuse, we're all here for you if you need us. Well, some of us, at least. A lot of the community's probably just gonna let you get screwed over because they don't like you/are annoyed by you.

People tend to prefer the absence of tension to the absence of actual problems, so yeah gg no recourse for you. Just give up on the "community" because it's only gonna let you down.

i'm quite certain that's extending to the moderators as well. the real problem with this is that i can't do anything in response. i can't even stand up for myself because i'll get suspended for even the slightest implied insult toward them. i'm not allowed to tap dance around the rules, i get suspended anyway. but they can pretty much do everything other than spam my inbox with gay porn and make all caps death threats toward my family, and nothing happens.

The only reason Tabby didn't submit the report was because he hadn't found Karl committing a crime.
But, if you think this "mysterious person" has broken laws, do what Tabby couldn't and "try to legally destroy his life the next time he does something extremely obnoxious"

It was pretty obvious from the beginning...

@Euathlus, I don't understand. I don't swear at Wally Balls, I don't recast his name into something like, "Smelly Balls" despite the fact that he has admitted to calling me "Poop" instead of "Pooh" for 4 years now.

Occasionally, I see things that don't make sense being posted on public forums, and I comment, discussing the idea rather than attacking the person. Sometimes, the person posting the things I don't agree with is Wally Balls.

Is it possible that he's quite oversensitive to logical criticism? Maybe we can show him a place that isn't the Internet.
