This map's bonus system is based on the Poland Big map (https://www.warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=15482), where the bonus is divided into city bonuses and regional bonuses.

hmm... looks dank to me. I'm really looking forward to it till it gets published. One thing that you could improve though is the design. Maybe add some blue shade for the oceans like you did in your poland map and do a white outline for the borders of the neighbouring countries.

Looks good to me, don't know why he says it looks dank - such maps are not enough.

Way too big boni to play an FFA on it.

to Artful Player: I didn't consider many things to create bonuses and only used a provisional formula. After more consideration and testing, bonuses will likely be modified. For now, I've reduced the value of both Texas bonus and its cities bonus by 5.

to Cata Cauda: The size of the bonuses in the US map are about the same as that of the Poland Big map, and I think the only 'way too big' state is Texas. Keep in mind that this isn't a 'conventional' map that mostly consists of bonuses of 8-9 territories or less.

Yes, I see your point that this map is maybe not aimed to be played for FFAs. However FFA are still a major part of the open games, and it wouldnt hurt anyone if you added some sub-boni with 2 - 6 territories, so it can be properly played for FFA too. If anyone wants to play a diplo on it without the smaller boni, they can gladly set them to 0.

Why does having unusual bonuses lead the map to be 'not suitable for FFAs'? I think this map can be played in FFA as well

Whole state bonuses? Yeah, it's a mostly bad map. Every US map suffers from oversized bonuses. You can't play a diplomacy game on it.

You can change the bonus' when you create a game, so Texas can be as powerful as Arkansas or New York etc.
