Im fairly new to this website and trying out the game when along comes people like Bakarin with 167 games under his belt joining and beating up new people. There should be a game limit of experience to join so that the game is learnable and enjoyable for....THE NEWBIES.

*There are 4-player FFA games named "Welcome, Newbies !" to practice against other beginners.
*Not sure non-members can set prerequisites to open seats but if you can, create your own games with max limits of games played, for instance.
*Or just create a game and don't click on "Join game" until you have checked the infos of the opponent having joined and considered (s)he'd be a good match for you.

Enjoy !

For the newbie games, the requirements are <30 days since your join date. The problem with that is that people who have more time/games will beat out the ones who are just starting.

Perhaps a solution could be number of games played (50 max? 25 max?) or number won.

Basically, the requirements for the newbie games don't keep out... non-newbies.

you learn by playing with and against people who are better than you, not worse. accept that youll win fewer games now then you will later, learn by looking through the history of games youve lost, and soon enough it will be you crushing noobs.

Still, x, if the level gap is too high, it's just boring or it must be meant as a teaching game, because getting crushed only tells you'll be crushed same next time with no reason if there's no comment on it.

myhand, the only problem is that most newbs don't realize just what their w/r should be so could be difficult to judge..

and that could encourage bullys into making new accounts/using their account with bad records, to have fun beating on newbs..

when i good game just wont start. i do 1v1s with no prequisites. means my stats are worthless. but somtimes its better than waiting 2 hrs for someone above 60% for a 3v3 so i can see your point. but thats kinda just part of the game right? i may be wrong.

most of my stats are pretty much random.. I play with newbs, I play with the old guard, and the new vets, and anyone in between.. just about anyone that will play a game with me, lol.

Often times, when a newb isn't acting like a troll, I will ask if they want advice, when the game is over, and will talk with the vets about how the game turned out, and possible figure out how to get better.

my 1v1 is probably the closest I have to a realistic stat, just because of my time in the ladder, and if I recall it's not exactly stellar, lol
