Read somewhere that the wall would take about 16 years to build. So if it begins construction this year, it wouldn't be completed until 2033.

^and by 2033 some Democrat (or even some republican) will become president and will realise that the wall is a drain on resources and economy that doesn't even keep out most illegal Immigrants and stop construction

California already has a fence up, and we shouldn't build on the banks of the Rio Grande for obvious reasons, so really it's just building a fence from, like, Yuma to El Paso. Still, kinda dumb when it won't help all that much. Just legalize drugs to kill the cartels (most of their money is made through drug trafficking of course, if independent dealers and drug companies out produce them, they'll collapse), which will start killing corruption and crime.

Yeah. Drugs are bad and dangerous, but not nearly as bad or dangerous as the drug business. Legalize it and cartels will crumble.

What retard thinks a wall won't work? I understand hating the intent, or even the cost (although 15-20 billion to be repayed is not a lot at all), but to think it is not going to stop people is just cognitive dissonance.
