So the 2 above Island territories are a bonus of their own?

I feel like this template is a driving test, Make one mistake and your going to crash and fail.

And I'm not good at driving...

Yeah, all island bonus groups are of 2 territories.

the islands are all pairs of 2. having 1 of them is -1 income and having both of them is +1 income. The blue dotlines are separating the pairs from each other

Islands are the only Bonus combination of two territories. if you have only one part of it, you get -1, if you got both of them, you get +1

Just want to make sure it's noted that I changed some of the problem colors, both in the key and on the map. Specifically, mountains were changed from gray to blue, highlands became slightly more purple, and jungles/swamps are no longer a shade of green.

The white font is incredibly hard to see on the desert areas. Maybe change their color to black?

OK, That's confusing that the bonus table has Islands under that shaded logo which has 4 territories shaded as opposed to the 2 I'm hearing it is.

Would be nice if that could be mentioned as a text in the picture Fizzer has.

I agree this is an imperfect system, since people who didn't happen to play for those 5 hours had no opportunity. plus even some people who saw it couldn't be around for the final vote.

If you look at the bonus value table, the islands (bottom one) only have values for 1 and 2 territories. 3 and 4 have a "-".

let me tell you the secret to beating mod by revealing his world reknown picking strategy:
- safe exceptional lands in north, south and west
- grasslands
- position in center/east
- double pick swamp as counters
- position on remaining highlands, forests, islands or arid grasslands

you can be an mod aswell, just trust in yourself, practice like hell and hope timinator wont stall you for silly mistakes that cost you an already won game!
