it seems about 85% done. some beautification and clarification will make it quite interesting.

This looks really cool. I especially like the way the fortresses and seas work. Can't wait to play on it.

As great as it looks, and as clever as the fortresses and seas are, this is going to be a real pain to play. You'll have to either learn by heart which groups of territories can give you points, or keep clicking the bonus links all the time.

You could try changing the colors of "cities" to be different than the main bonuses (and I don't mean just slightly different shade as it's now, I mean actually different colors, or very different shades - for example I think I hit the right balance in my Ireland map: [[1]](http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer.aspx?PreviewMap=1702).)

Also, try taking advantage of the fact that bonus links do not necessarily have to be square (which my map, incidentally, also demonstrates). You could, for example, make sea bonuses circles (or maybe cities bonuses would be circles?). Or you could "group" fortress/frt.defence bonuses as two touching triangles. Or you could make bonus links for large bonuses larger. There is a lot of possibilities, and such a complicated map would certainly benefit from this :)
