Any tips on how to beat it? I've tried at least five times and I just can't seem to make any progress. The AIs come from all directions and you don't get enough abandon cards...

I've always entertained the notion that if you beat the insane mode aliens come to your house and take you off to help them win an intergalactic war (that has something to do with warlight apparently)

ya know, like in The Last Starfighter?

Here is an idea that may help. Customize the game and take away the fog. Then you can see where the AI starts, and what they usually do. Play a couple of time when you can see them, then you may have an Idea of how to beat them.
