This is only an idea, and I will make it up as I go along, as well as with suggestions from you guys.
Some clans don't like how a clan of 4 plaeyrs can possibly win the clan league. So to come up with a solution, I've come up with the clan ladders that tests depth over the top 4 players in the clan:
There will be 3 ladders: a 1v1 ladder, a 2v2 ladder, and a 3v3 ladder (seperate because team games take much longer than 1v1 on average.)
An example is this:
1. UN, 2. WG, 3. Master, 4. VIW, 5. Warlighters, 6. Apex, 7. WM
UN gets a bye (bc they are #1 and there is an odd number of clans in it.)
2v3 (wg vs master)
4v5 (VIW vs Warlighters)
6v7 (Apex vs WM)
WG, Warlighters, and WM win.
So the new ladder looks like this:
1. UN, 2. WG, 3. Master, 4. Warlighters, 5. VIW, 6. WM, 7. Apex
This time, apex is left out (bc it switches between top and bottom every time.)
1 v 2
3 v 4
5v 6
The 1v1 ladder will require 9 games, but if you have only 7 or 8 members, you can still participate, but you must forfeit a match or two.
The 2v2 ladder will require 5 games, so you must have at least 8 players (enough to play in 4 games) to participate. It is advised that you have 10.
The 3v3 ladder will be 3 games, so you must have at least 6 players (2 games) to participate. It is advised that you have 9.
Vacations will not be honored, because the ladder won't work if it is held up. So there will be 3 day autoboot to start off.
I understand the 1v1 part could last over 15 days per a round, and the 3v3 ladder could last over 30 days per a round.
Because of this, there will be a limit of 8 clans for the 2v2 and 3v3 ladders and a limit of 10 clans for 1v1. There will be a max of 3 games at a time. The clans with first opportunity to join are 20, GG, WM, AHOL, WG, 101st, VIW, Master. Those 8 all have 9 players in their clan and have had success in the clan league already (with the exception of [20]). After that, it will be voted on by the clans already in the competition about who should make it in. This is one event where you can play for a second clan if you are in it, but the limit is only one other clan. Also good to note, your clan can chooose just to participate in 1-2 of these ladders if you want.
Anyone have any feedback?
EDIT: You will only play one player/team from the other clan. Like for 1v1, there are 9 players, so I will use random.org to rank each clans players and then have them play agaisnt the opposing player at their ranking. The same with 2v2, except with 5 teams. 3v3 is the same except with only 3 clans.
The clans will be ranked from the start by voting from the clan leaders of the clans that are in it.
