Looking for a good, alt friendly strat clan that I can learn from. Currently I use this account for the 1v1 ladder and Real-Time Ladder. Do not recruit me for clan league this season as I am playing for my main clan. 1v1 Ladder https://www.warlight.net/LadderTeam?LadderTeamID=16236Real-Time Ladder https://www.warlight.net/LadderTeam?LadderTeamID=16257Main account https://www.warlight.net/Profile?p=4550259885

My opinion here..
Your main is in FCC you have the community and map-making/role-playing and general enjoyment of the game for fun.
This alt, Im assuming is to improve the strategic side of things. Factors you probably want to consider is do you want to feel special? By having training sessions, you know the general feedback and whatever. You don't want yourself being a alt be a reason for clans to generally ignore you once your in because your not "one of them”
I might recommend 101st they are around 50 members.. (whatever number excluding alts and whatever) chances are you might be a bit under priority for let's say 1 on 1 training sessions. I'm sure giving the clan size they have training methods that allows mass training somehow and this is a alt friendly clan. so you should take strong consideration just based on this policy and who knows what it leads to tbh just being around strong players makes you a better player.
Hydra seems a solid option here , They have strategic members around your level and greater , I think you can learn a bit more here. They have a great clan system I'm assuming. But I think this is a clan with a great community and it is time consuming to be part of two large clan community's , Whatever you think here it's what you think. This should be your most leaned to option since you know Hydra members naturally... But think with your brain and not your heart, Your heart is in FCC.
GGr is something that players need to take advantage of.. New clan.. only 10 members .. surely they are training their players due to low demand vs 101st. I think you would benefit the most strategically here. If I was leading GGr I would recruit you for two reasons , Boost clan community and have another active learner , Learners learn better in groups. I see benefits for both parties here , But it's GGr decision and ofc a feeder clan can't have all alts or the community crumbles Long term.
Apprentice has allowed alts and it's really up there for strategic learning. What I really like about them is they have an active Skype chat which could suit you, They allow alts which is awesome!e for you and Masters are a great clan to be around and you can join the occasional RT game with them! They will always keep you on the right part and mostly lead by example. If you can get an alt in with them.. take it! with both hands like GGr
Overall , Try GGr or Apprentice and see what the story is with them you will improve so much I think with them. That's what I think works best for you depending how much you want to be involved with this alt. 101st is up there ofc and consider them .
On a last note , if your a really enhuastic strategic learner the best way to be in a clan suited to you is to ask around. And the feeder clans Will probably accept you because your showing a enthusiastic attitude to learn ! Which means potential to be a top player!
So , Talk to GGr , Hydra , 101st and Apprentice. Take your time and see what opportunities you have and if they are willing to take you on! Much effective then hoping a clan will recruit an alt which rarely ever happens. If training is on top of your agenda or anything about a clan in general . Just message one of their members and ask what the clan is like!

Hey, so you would have to message Great Expanse to know for sure about Hydra. But when I was recruited, they didn't like alts. But that being said I know there are definitely exceptions to that rule. But I don't know the circumstances in which the exceptions joined. But if you are looking for a good clan for strategic development, I certainly believe you can't get much better than Hydra. Just look at my 1v1 ladder history (go to the ladder stats to find me, not my profile page) I went from an ELO 1600 to around an 1800 ELO and am still rising. I attribute this almost entirely to my joining of Hydra. I don't have a unique story either. If you look at the active members of the clan. They are all either already pretty competitive, or seem to be following a similar pattern as I am. Hydra is a great place to be.

By having training sessions, you know the general feedback and whatever. You don't want yourself being a alt be a reason for clans to generally ignore you once your in because your not "one of them” I do enjoy the FCC alot. I enjoy helping it grow and guiding the members, as well as serving on the council. Positions in the FCC are for members only, and as someone who enjoys what he does, I don't think I'd enjoy leaving that position. My alt is for strat though. It's where I plan to grow as a strategic player. It will also be my only alt, as it is all I need. As long as I get the training I desire, I will also not leave as I have no reason. Most of my ladder activity will also be on my alt as well. I might recommend 101st they are around 50 members.. (whatever number excluding alts and whatever) chances are you might be a bit under priority for let's say 1 on 1 training sessions. Will make sure to contact all of them. Overall , Try GGr or Apprentice and see what the story is with them you will improve so much I think with them. That's what I think works best for you depending how much you want to be involved with this alt. 101st is up there of and consider them .
Apprentice from what I've seen is a very good options, and I've seen really good players shoot up and become great players in the clan. GGr being new is a tempting option, but one that I'm less certain about. 101st has the advantage of having several players I'm familiar with connecting me to the clan more instantaneously. On a last note , if your a really enhuastic strategic learner the best way to be in a clan suited to you is to ask around. And the feeder clans Will probably accept you because your showing a enthusiastic attitude to learn ! Which means potential to be a top player!
That's what I'm planning on doing. I enjoy learning and appreciate anyone who'll give me the opportunity. Thanks for your help plat :)

As we are mentioned in this thread, I will answer in public. 101st is for sure an option for you. Platinum is referring to the time, when he was in 101st. He later left and founded Outlaws. As I were in the clan back then (but inactive), I do know the difference. Back then it was a bit chaotic and that’s one reason Platinum did leave. Right now, it has changed. In theory, we are 50 members, in practice we have some players that are playing just for fun and have decided to stay in 101st for the atmosphere. We do not offer mass training, as this is something ineffective at a decent level (1500- 1600 +). We have a training system for those, who are interested in it. Currently this comprises about 15 members. It is mainly a question of activity and motivation. To become good, you really need to invest some time and not everybody is able to spend that time. Ranking clans like done by Platinum (who is biased as he thinks he did not get what he is worth in 101st) is a bad method in general. You need to see how you come alone with the members of a clan. For me 101st is the right clan to improve and I think I did improve a lot in 101st, at least enough to beat some good players like Platinum. I need to improve to be able to beat better players, but time will come. As more players may read this: In the end you cant decide on Forum posts. Just try it out and I can say, 101st is a very good clan to try out. Ranking us below some other clans mentioned here is nothing else than a bad joke.

@Superz Nice to see I helped which was the main reason I posted.
@Krunx Stop talking irrelevant crap about the history. The topic here is about Cowboy looking for he most suitable clan , If your basing my opinion on what happened between me and 101st then that shows how much your worth.
However I stick by my opinion , I think GGr and Apprentice are probably your best options and I did say 101st should be considered very well here. I encouraged every player to contact each of your clan.
Ive been very fair , I didn't rule any clan out and I've given your clan Krunx as much of a chance as any. I also didn't deliberately ranked 101st behind anyone I just gave my recommendation and I can ensure my though process is not about what clan is better but how much a player can benefit.
So Instead of mentioning my name 3 times in your post Krunx spend your energy on mentioning why your clan is great to super and recruit him.

@ Master Farah: Uhm, didn't plat just recommend 101st in a positive way? Where's all the salt on your sweetroll coming from? Are you kidding me? He simply did a poisoned statement on 101st based on his history/knowledge with the clan. He doesnt know how we train/coach our members right now, so he cant judge. @ Platinum: I also didn't deliberately ranked 101st behind anyone I just gave my recommendation and I can ensure my though process is not about what clan is better but how much a player can benefit. . Overall , Try GGr or Apprentice and see what the story is with them you will improve so much I think with them. That's what I think works best for you depending how much you want to be involved with this alt. The problem with this is, that you are stating things that arent true currently. I might recommend 101st they are around 50 members.. (whatever number excluding alts and whatever) chances are you might be a bit under priority for let's say 1 on 1 training sessions. This statement isnt true in general, as I mentioned that we may have 50 members, but not 50 active, motivated member that need to be coached. At a certain level you need more than a general guide. It is much more useful to review your own games. Your statement indicates: "Noone will care, you are one out of 50 and wont receive specific training." Therefore your post intentionally or not is poisoned through my eyes. Given your history and your Forum posts before on 101st I would guess it was completly intentionally. If you would have said: "Dont join 101st" directly it would have been less effective. I did mention you, as you mentioned us, thats it. Apart from the little bis biased statement towards 101st your post was valid and correct.
