I'm german and I support german teams, but I have no favourite between Bayern/Dortmund. For me, it was no surprise that Bayern won 5-1. EPL sucks. But wtf Wenger? Everyone knows that you can not beat Bayern when you stand inside your box and wait for Bayern to do something. When Robben had the ball before he scores the 1-0 Özil stands there and is doing nothing. It was nothing but pure luck that Arsenal levelled the score for 20 minutes.
Dortmund played damn well. I mean, they lost, but they had chances to score 5+ goals. In their stadium with great fans they will kick Benfica's butt.
PSG - Barca, I dont know what to say. MSN having a bad day and Barca struggles. Draxler, Cavani and Di Maria on the other side having the time of their life. But this is not over yet. I bet 100€ that Barca will win at Camp Nou being at least 2 goals in front. If there's another magical night for MSN, who knows?
The more Dortmund and other German Teams win in the European Leagues (CL+EL), the more Points the Bundesliga gets, the more money the Bundesliga Teams get, the more money Bayern Munich get...
Please explain again: why do you prefer a lose of Dortmund? =)
EDIT: I shouldn't generalize all Bayern Fans to think that way, but there are Lot thinking like this. Ofc, a Lot Barca and Real-Fans also want to see each other losing.
Discuss: Sevilla will qualify to the final facing small teams (like last year's europa league) and in the final the ref will not give three obvious handballs by sevilla in their box so that they can win (like last year's europa league)
^ similiar to what will happen to real madrid, easy teams till the final and then ref not seeing real madrid goal as offside, even though it obviously is (just like last year)
PSG have been a club mainly but lacked guidance in terms of a management perspective. You can't pump money into a club and expect fast growth , There needs to be proper infrastructure and yes in some sense stability. PSG were always a club to be feared and I was impressed by their recruitment of a manager who has won the Europa League 3 times in a row! I believe the manager has made a difference here for sure.
I didn't like Barcelona's tactics in game , Sergi Roberto struggled to deal with his winger , Barcelona were heavily exposed here defensively.
Overall I think PSG were just that bit more hungry , As seen by the intensity of their tackles and work rate. Barcelona squad is near identical to last season and a reason for why they weren't as hungry to my eyes could be because the lack of influx oflayers , Sometimes you need to shake things up to keep players on their toes. For every new season. This was visibly seen in Leicester City as a relative example.
