So maybe this has been done before, if so, please point the way to the thread,

but I'm starting a Tournament Decline List,

so that people can post below that they don't want to be invited to tournaments,

and that will hopefully reduce the number of tournaments waiting for people who have no interest in joining at the present time.

Bio: March 5th, 2017:
Not currently accepting additional games.
Not accepting additional Tournaments until at least July 2017.

To be fair , All you have to do is spend 5-10 seconds declining.

It's more inefficient spending a minute making a thread highlighting the issue and then spending even more time checking it daily.

And in the scenario people make a tourney , They aren't going to be spending 10-15 mins looking at this thread to avoid inviting you when they know you can decline at free will.

Just decline damn it!!!!

Also when most people make tournaments that need a lot of people I don't think they're really paying attention to whose name is next to the invite button anyway

I think the problem is more that people invite players which are inactive for ages. IF players do not join after one or two month they should be Auto declined

I get invited to bad tournaments all the time and so what I do is just let them reap what they sow by not accepting or declining, thus being a dead spot for them.

If your tournaments don't fill after 2 months, you should probably make them smaller.

Another suggestion is to cull your friends list to only those who have been active in the past 1-2 days before you send out invites

My system of making tourneys is pretty efficient.

1. Never make a Tourney over 128
2. Have a friends list that keeps all your recently played
3. Every time you make a tournament get rid of anyone on your friends list that hasn't been active in more than 2 days
4. Sort the friends list to fastest players at taking their turn in multiplayer games(real time games if its a real time tournament)
5. Periodically add more friends as spots open up
6.Enjoy :)
