92% Clinton and 77% Democratic, unsurprisingly. (inb4 "100% reason to remember the name.") According to this, I'm a left centrist, which makes sense given that I tend to support the center-left in practice even though ideologically I differ from them significantly.
I wonder how much thought went into how much you weigh the asking. I'm not flawless but I tried to weigh it by how many folk it would affect and how much it would affect them (kill? serious inconvenience? small inconvenience?). From Ox:

First off, the sum of folk calling themselves gay in France is pretty small. While the % of gay folk is hard to size, since a lot of folk don't want to admit it, the guys getting married are obviously admitting it. So it's roughly 2% the population right there. 1/50. Then take the % of folk who are married in France and multiply that by 2%. I couldn't find info on this but it's low. Say 70%. Now, this is still too high for gays. Although they might be more eager to marry, this is offset by how hard it is for a gay guy to find someone, and if they're already happy in a civil union (which most are). (These are all high estimates btw). So say 30%. 30%*2% = 0.6%. 0.6% of the population gets affected by this, yet you ranked it as important as France leaving the EU (which affects 100% the population in a much bigger way). And then multiply that by % of how sure you were that your answer was the good one or how well their answers fit yours.
Now how much is this 0.6% affected by it? Not a lot, since civil unions have been legal in France since 1999, and while breaking a mariage requires much lawyers and legal work, breaking civil unions is quite easy, and so in this way is better. The only way that it's worse really is that mariages do not give you the law to fairly (in theory) moderate it. Again, play the game of %. Few foreigners living in France (11.1%)*% of those that are unaffected (already citoyens or serial killer or something) (10% at high estimate)*how much your vote counts (if at all, it's 1/67 million). And then multiply by how much their vote as a whole would change things for the better for everyone (I don't think you really said Yes on these grounds. I think this would actually harm your cause since immigrants would vote for immigrant-upholders - usually leftists) and at last multiply by how much it would change things for the immigrants voting for (which might not change anything at all).
^^As important as economic wellbeing and national security and more important than saving many children's lives? And furthermore, on average, you're not affected. Only roughly 1/10 folk would be.
