Two players clearly collaborating in FFA. I recommend everyone reading this BL these two (or this one guy) for this.

It's not against the rules to collaborate with another player. If you try to report you'll see that Fizzer's suggestion is that if you don't like players making pacts or colluding, you should play 1v1 where that's impossible

And the winner is...QueefBalls! And it only took just over an hour for someone to miss the point completely and inanely state the obvious. Good Work!

I never said it wasn't against the rules. But people that do it are losers and should be BL in my opinion. I am just making others aware.

a) Might wanna check your own credibility before you tell people whom to blacklist

b) Collaboration in FFAs is super-common, not a common blacklist-worthy offense, and ultimately it's so subjective that if we had a forum thread like this for every time someone thought someone else should pop up on other people's blacklists, this would be 99% of what we have on the forum

QueefBalls is right- sure, it's subjective and you're in the right to blacklist them yourself just as all the people who've got you on their blacklist for that sketch business you do with your alts, but it only creates litter when people create threads like this.

Just blacklist them, report them to a narrower audience that cares (i.e., not the entire forum), and move on.

I honestly understand your anger, but these people suck at the game anyway, if you wish to avoid a majority of the crap that happens, play with high pre reqs. I usually only play games now with really low boot rate, and higher win rates. It just allows me to face better people and not players who will just be a waste of time to play with/against.

a) Anything from knyte is asinine, which you can tell from reading any of his posts.

b) If more of these cheating idiots were reported and everyone blacklisted them, the behavior would be greatly reduced.

c) The activity in this game is not subjective, it was clear collusion - no other interpretation

d) If you don't like the content - DON'T READ IT lol.

Queefballs and knyte are right - there is no issue with collaborating in FFA. Turn of private messages if you care that much. Now if there is alting taking place, then we have an issue.

Obviously, you didn't see the game settings to make such a ridiculous statement.

I saw the settings and that is irrelevant.

Then why did you suggest I turn off PM? Uh huh.

When I said that I didn't imply for you to join games that have PM off, I meant turn it off in games you host. If you don't want to join a game that has teaming taking place, then either:

1. Stop playing FFAs.
2. Create all of your games and have good prerequisites.
3. Check the accounts of people you join games with (not very practical for 40 FFA but) whenever you see two level 8s from Portugal that both joined on 3/23, chances are they are gonna team.

You probably could figure that out since you are such a smart guy, but you decided to complain about it on the forums to get the attention that you lack in other places.

Teaming up in FFA isn't cheating. If you don't like it then play games with PM's turned off. It's your problem, not ours.

PMs were turned off. Not that it mattered, since they were collaborating alts anyway.

I don't get that hostility towards BlackBart.

Don't have much against teamed players in FFA, but, once there was situation where I wanted to surrender and two collaborating idiots didn't accept my surrender, so I decided who will win the game. Both are blacklisted as I had to be in game more than 10 turns on small map (Map of the Week just few weeks ago). When I checked history it was obvious that they played together, but, regarding outcome, I don't think they are happy.

@Rento: I doubt they are alts; looks like two IRL friends that were playing together and decided it would be funny to collaborate and screw over everyone else. It's pretty hard to prevent, unfortunately. Tried to have a reporting system for things like this w/ CORP's old internal clan-wide blacklist... and it just doesn't work.

If I were in BlackBart's position, I'd be frustrated too. Unfortunately, the blacklist approach isn't very effective and your best bet is to probably just be more selective about whom you play with (but not in the blacklist way- you just have to pick your opponents from people you trust).
