No badge? BOO!
Seriously though, I'll give it a shot. I sometimes like a good idle game, especially when I don't care to play anything but still want to chat in the kong room I normally hang out it (Chill Lounge).
At first blush, it looks to be simple but effective. So far, so good :-)
EDIT: After playing it for a while, I've got more thoughts on it. Overall, I enjoy the concept. My biggest problem is that it does not continue to run when the user is in another tab or even elsewhere within the same tab. I was very surprised to see it was not progressing while I scrolled down on the same page to read the comments. This is the only significant issue I've encountered so far.
I rated it 5/5 because I like the concept (it is very good for what it tries to be) and I want to encourage the minor improvements that will make it significantly better. Oh, and I want loot! :-D
LATE EDIT: Actually, it appears that it progresses when I'm active in a different tab or program. It is only when my attention is elsewhere on the same page that it stalls out.

I had no issues with any of the buttons, except that the save function always seemed a little iffy. It may have just been me, but it seemed like it didn't really work until I pressed it a couple times.
Maybe add in some sort of visual cue tied to pressing the button (like making it look like it just got pressed down)? That might help everyone out psychologically, even if it doesn't actually add any functionality.
And yeah, I was joking abut the badges. I know Kong doesn't badge as much as it used to (or as quickly), and idle games like this never got many badges it seemed in the first place.
Its tough to tell if it is slowing down when I tab out of it, but it is definitely still progressing enough for me to not really think much about it. The only time it seems to stop completely is if I'm in the game tab but scroll down far enough so that the game is no longer in my field of view. I've never seen this before, and while it is a little annoying, it isn't that big a deal.
Also, I've been running it on Chrome for a while now... I don't have an autoclicker, but just leave it running while I'm afk, returning to buy more speed periodically. I have not seen any issues related to memory.
Hope all these random thoughts help refine the game some. Thanks for it! :-)

Yeah, when I posted that, I hadn't seen it quite yet. Good update. The cost reduction really took be by surprise though, as I was able to max out most of my colors then with the cash I had on hand.
I'm still kind of lost when it comes to ascending though... So an ascension is just when we right click to reset a maxed out color? Seems odd that we don't have to reset all our colors at once (which I initially did) or that we keep what we've already earned... I'm not prepared to say anything about it was bad, but it definitely not how I was expecting the game to progress.
EDIT: Also, go me, I was probably the third legitimate ascension and no worse than the 4th (at least of this iteration of the game on Kong). Fingermage and GaGelati both had 3 ascensions before I got my 6 all at once. Trollolololo too, technically, but somehow I doubt his was legit, even if I'm not smart enough myself to figure out what he did.

A couple of questions on the mechanics:
1) The Speed %, is that different than a rev/sec? Right now, my red is at 49.6% and my yellow is at 52.8%, but the red is still completing circles faster than the yellow.
2) Is there a optimal distribution of speeds? Should they all just be at the same cost to upgrade? It appears that they are all about 7.3% slower than the next higher one for the same cost.
3) What gives you a high score on Kongregate?
Neat game!

Nic,
I'm talking about speed %, on the left. both my red and yellow are at the same speed percentage. Red is at 83.4% and costs 5.08e10 to upgrade, Yellow is at 83.4% and costs 3.57e11 to upgrade.
They are both at same speed percent, but the red is much quicker and completes more revolutions than the yellow does.
As to high score, what number is the high score? how much I have at the bottom? the points/rev number? the value of my red multiplier (169.42 now)?
Now what's going on with the exponent reset?

So for the exponent reset, the linear score/rev remains the same, except that the multiplier for what you reset gets set to 1.00
However, what goes into the exponent multiplier. For example, mine is now at +5.16E11^1.02 I think for each ascension, the exponent gets increased by +0.1
However, what makes up the 5.16e11 ?
