Hello all!

I'm almost done with a map about the Beaver Wars - a series of wars in North America in the 17th century, mainly between the Iroquois Confederacy and whomever they could take on.
The purpose of these wars was to get more territory to hunt beavers - they traded the pelts for guns, which they used to win more wars (a lucrative yet bloody business).

Now that I'm satisfied with the map, I'm looking for general feedback. Missing connections, historical mistakes, mixed up bonuses, those sort of things. People willing to sign up for a test game are always welcome too.

Thanks in advance!

Yes! I found this map the other day scrolling through map IDs, and I was disappointed because it looked like it wasn't gonna be finished. But I was wrong! Sign me up for testing, it looks amazing.

Edit: I looked at what Gallien said below, and I noticed that Allegewi, on the western border of the Susquehannok bonus, doesn't connect to anything at all.

Map is absolutely beautiful! :)

Found an unneeded connection immediately, though: in the Susquehannok bonus there are 2 provinces - Kaiquariegahaga and Sconondihago. They do not border each other, but they are connected nevertheless. Also Fort Orange is not connected to the province right to the west - Wappinger.

Alright, thanks everyone!

Missing connections (and other mistakes I'd overlooked) have been fixed. I'll be setting up some test games.

If anyone wants to join, we're still open! :)

One complaint I have is that bonus links look a bit too stretched out, don't you think? If you'd like, I believe I know a way of quickly making all of them into perfect circles

Anyways, count me in boss

That's an interesting one. You mean the bonus links for the towns, right?
They are oval (instead of round) on purpose, mainly because they all have the same one-digit value anyway, and giving them equal width to height just seemed like a waste of space, in a way.

Is it more common to use perfect circles? If it's an unwritten warlight rule, I'm fine with changing it. If it's just a matter of personal taste... eh :p

(Thanks for the feedback, though!)

I have seen more maps sporting circles than ovals, but I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I think circles look better, but it's up to you at the end
